Mary Jane has consulted for General Mills, Target, Land o Lakes, Kroger, Caribou, Peet’s and many others developing new food products and writing consumer recipes. She has written for the Star Tribune Taste section and many magazines, focusing on local sustainable foods. She cooked for governors Pawlenty and Dayton for special events. In 2018, she was one of the founders of Freak Flag Organics, a good food company. FFO started in a shared kitchen making sauces and condiments in the Twin Cities and is now available nationwide.
