Who do you live with: My wife Jen, our two kids Hannah and Gabe and a very rambunctious beagle/terrier mix named Mickey.
Where would you like to live: If money were no object, New York. Just for the theater scene alone.
Your favorite occupation: I would love to be a filmmaker. Lots of stories to tell!
Person you’d like to meet: Steve Martin
What do you order in a coffee shop: Black coffee unless I’m feeling crazy then it’s white chocolate mocha
3 TCL regulars who you’d like to have dinner with: Ted Farrell, Mike Frattallone and Marjorie Johnson. There would be no silence.
Favorite State Fair food: Ooh, tough question. I’m at the State Fair a lot, so I’ve had my share of fair food. The first thing I get every year is the turkey sandwich from Turkey To Go. I also love the vanilla malt from Sadie’s, which is across the street from the Miracle of Birth Center.
Favorite TCL moment: I got to spend about 10 minutes talking backstage with my childhood idol “Weird Al” Yankovic. That was literally a dream come true. And I’ve gotten to meet two of my childhood celebrity crushes – Danica McKellar (Winnie from The Wonder Years) and Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster!) Both could not have been sweeter.
One thing you can’t live without: My iPhone. I can get by without anything else but that thing never leaves my side.
Dream TCL interview/segment: I’ve gotten to do it already with “Weird Al” but if we could get Steve Martin on the show, that would be a game changer for me. I think he’s the best entertainer we’ve ever had on this planet.
What is your motto: You can sleep when you’re dead.
