For the past three years Twin Cities Live has worked to help create families for kids in our communities. It’s our series we call Kid Connection and it’s helped find permanent homes for more than 20 children. But we aren’t finished yet. Twin Cities Live reporter Kelli Hanson stopped by with a few updates.
We first introduced you to Antonio in October of 2015. We joined him at Severs Corn Maze and checked out the petting zoo, the zip line and the pumpkin blasters. He’s a quiet boy, but opened up about the family he was looking for. We are so happy to report that Antonio has now found a permanent family and is awaiting finalization.
There are children still looking for a family. We introduced you to Gabe just over a year ago. This sports fanatic loves football so we gave him the chance to check out the Sportsology Exhibit at the Science Museum of Minnesota. His requests are simple. He wants a brother and sister, a dog, but most importantly a mom and dad together.

Aurora, who likes to go by Rory, is 7 and currently lives in a foster home. She joined Kelli at the American Girl Store at Mall of America and was surprised with her very own American Girl Doll. Rory’s adoption recruiter says she needs consistency and consistent people in her life. Rory is still looking for her forever family.
