How long have you been with Twin Cities Live?
Since September 21, 2020. I was a reporter for Denver TV News, but grew up in Shakopee!
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Veterinarian or Actress
What is your favorite thing about working for Twin Cities Live?
I love meeting new people and bringing positive stories to the community
What one goal do you still aspire to achieve?
I would like to get involved with the MN Brain Injury Alliance. I would love to help raise awareness for others, who like me, have survived a traumatic brain injury.
When you’re not at work, what do you enjoy doing?
I love spending time with my husband, daughter, and our two mini-Huskies! I enjoy running, volunteering, fishing, hiking up mountains and shredding the slopes.
Who inspires you?
My mom, Kathy. She has an endless amount of energy, exceptional creative talents, and so much compassion for others! She wears a smile everywhere she goes! I strive to be a fun mom just like she’s been for me.
First concert you ever attended?
Last Chance Summer Dance at Canterbury Park back in 1998. But we were bummed the Backstreet Boys had to cancel.
Who would you like to see in concert that you haven’t seen yet?
If Cash Money Records had a “Reunion Tour” I’d be in the front row. I still have my necklace!
What’s the best meal you’ve ever had?
Filet mignon wrapped in bacon and loaded mashed potatoes from Manny’s Steakhouse. Yum!
If you were reincarnated as any celebrity, who would you choose to be?
Lucille Ball. I especially love the episode where Lucy and Ethel attempt to wrap chocolates on the assembly line and it goes hilariously wrong.
