How long have you been with Twin Cities Live?
I started in July 2021, but have been a viewer since the show started. And I starting my KSTP career in the newsroom from September 2018-July 2021.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A backup dancer for boy band *NSYNC – or Backstreet Boys. Did they have regular dancers aside from themselves? No. Or not yet is what I told myself!
Why are you excited to work with Twin Cities Live?
After college I moved to Texas and then Oregon – but my heart was always in Minnesota. I love learning and trying new things – TCL seems like just the place for finding new spots and meeting new people.
What one goal do you still aspire to achieve?
A not so serious goal, but still one I’ve been trying to figure out how to do for years – spend a night overnight (legally) at Mall of America.
When you’re not at work, what do you enjoy doing?
Painting, reading and listening to music! I also love going on walks with my family and watching Twitch streamers and YouTube videos online.
Who inspires you?
My Mom – she’s loving, intelligent and kind.
First concert you ever attended?
The Jonas Brothers with my Dad – what a trooper.
Who would you like to see in concert that you haven’t seen yet?
Post Malone, Bruno Mars or Fleetwood Mac.
What’s the best meal you’ve ever had?
Stuffed French Toast from Peg’s Countryside Café. If I could eat only that every single day, I would.
