Getting Back into a Routine

The new school year has started but it takes some time for both parents and kids to adjust. You may find yourself rushing out the door or telling your kids to “hurry up,” making the hours you head out the door feel more like a zoo. Bestselling Author, Kristen Brown shared tips on getting back to a routine!

Back to Routine Tips:

  1. Create a consistent bedtime: Put your kids to bed 15 minutes earlier and go to bed 15 minutes later so you have 30 minutes of “you” time.
  2. Write in a journal: Write 3 pages in your journal in the morning and at night to help clear your mind and clear any negative thoughts.
  3. Plan ahead: Use a whiteboard to write out everyone’s schedule so you know what to expect every day of the week.
