If you’re a busy mom or dad you may have good intentions to get in a workout during your child’s naptime but what happens if your baby wakes up? Don’t skip your workout, instead just have them join you! In today’s Be Well with TCL, fitness instructor and blogger, Lindsey Bomgren explains some workout moves that will help mamas play and bond with their baby while getting their body back in shape!
Equipment: Bodyweight & Baby
This 15-minute mommy & me workout consists of 6 exercises which you’ll repeat x 3 sets. Perform each exercise for 40 seconds followed by a 20 second break for the first set, then 30 seconds followed by a 15 second break for the second set, and finally 20 seconds followed by a 10 second break for the third set.
- Down Dog & Push Up Peek-a-Boo
- Launcher Lunges & Baby Tickle
- Squat & Baby Press
- Squat Jack Baby Touches
- Baby Glute Bridges
- Seated Baby Twist
Repeat x 3 sets, dropping the working time by 10 seconds per set.
