Exercises for Tension Relief

Certified Fitness Instructor and owner of The Warehouse in Rosemount, Nickie Carrigan, stopped by to share exercises that will help tension and pain in the body.

  1. Cobra push up – Lie face down and bring hands under shoulders.  Peel upper half off the floor to open the front of the body, and then press body up into a tricep push up.
  2. Burpee with heel touch – Modified using a raised platform and step back, reach back toward heels. Eventually add a jump while reaching back toward both heels.
  3. Scorpion
  4. Downward Dog Knee to Nose
