Fall Fitness: Gyrotonic Workout

TCL’s Kelli Hanson found a workout that helps unwind her sore muscles and strengthens every muscle in her body at the same time. It’s called “Gyrotonic” and you can find it at Embody Movement Studio.

The Gyrotonic method is a unique movement practice with roots in Yoga, Tai Chi and dance. The exercises are performed on equipment and each movement flows into the next, allowing the joints to move through a natural range of motion without jarring or compression. The sequences create balance, efficiency, strength and flexibility.
