Picking out a real Christmas tree and cutting it down in the field is tradition for a lot of families. But for a family in Lake Elmo, Christmas Trees are more than just a tradition, it’s a 4th generation family business. Krueger’s began almost 75-years ago when Al & Elaine Krueger bought a farm in Stillwater. They began to plant trees on that land, and after cutting down their own Christmas tree and then the neighbor’s, their business was born. The farm has since moved from Stillwater to Lake Elmo and you’ll see 4th generation Krueger’s out in the field. Twin Cities Live reporter Kelli Hanson takes us to Krueger’s Christmas Tree Farm in this Good Company. Krueger’s is open now through Christmas Eve. Learn more about the farm here.
