Moving can be stressful, but one company says it doesn’t have to be. Empty The Nest started in 2010. It helps people with what they call wall to wall removal of personal items from their homes. They help offset some of the costs with a thrift store that they run.
This year, marks the one year anniversary of their new space in Golden Valley. They have more room to help folks clean out their homes. Here’s how it works. Empty The Nest estimates the clean out of the homes. They do it by judging how many items will be taken out and what could be sold in the thrift store.
While moving, they have found all sorts of items for folks. Wedding rings and even old collections that the owners thought had gone missing were found. Empty The Nest also works with a company that helps recycle items that can’t be re-sold.
