Game Night Hot Spots

Game nights aren’t anything new, but where you go to enjoy the games is getting even better. There are all sorts of fun places that have opened up in the cities. TCL Reporter Emily Engberg checks out three that she says are worth trying.

Tilt Pinball Bar just opened its doors in Minneapolis in late April. It has over twenty classic and current pinball machines. It’s a mix of nostalgia and excitement for what’s new. All games are just 25 cents. They also offer a full menu of unique and traditional hot dogs. There are also craft beers and cocktials. It’s a welcoming spot for kids, but definitely is more adult driven at night. You can’t beat the cool vibe and the games. The design in Tilt is retro and fun.

Just down there street you’ll find UpDown. It’s an arcade bar for folks 21 and up. It has row and rows of all sorts of games. We’re talking pinball, skee ball, frogger, life size jenka and more. They also have a full bar and pizza. This place is super fun and great for a fun outing for friends, a date night and even a work event. There’s something for everyone.

Bowlero has a few locations in the cities. We checked out Eden Prairie. It’s big and loaded with entertainment. There’s pool, darts, bowling, laser tag, an arcade and more. There’s also a bar for the adults. However, this is a good spot for kids to have a good time with their family, too. The menu has a lot of food options. It’s loaded with good choices for a fun night out. Emily raves about the chicken fingers that are breaded and made from scratch. The giant pretzel is also a hit.
