Tomme Beevas from Pimento Jamaican Kitchen has a new project to tell us about. He now also runs Pimento Relief Services to help the people affected by the current unrest in the Twin Cities.
Healing Streets is an initiative to promote much needed healing in the Black community. It is a series of public events across Minneapolis and Brooklyn Center that will feature music, poetry and art, fresh food prepared by local chefs, prayer circles, therapy, massage, yoga, and will create a safe space to share trauma, and to listen to others share theirs.
