Sartell Boy Gets Wish Granted

Make A Wish grants wishes for seriously ill children across the country. These wishes bring joy and hope when things can be scary or sad. Kretschmar Meats and Cheeses has been helping grant wishes alongside Make A Wish since 2012. Since then, Kretschmar’s Legendary Wishes campaign has raised $600,000 dollars to help grant wishes nationally.

A wish was granted here in Minnesota in April. Eight year old Jackson is from Sartell. He has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He loves a good adventure and desperately wanted a golf cart to drive around his family’s land. He received that golf cart during a pep rally at his school. Oak Ridge Elementary students were so excited to be a part of the event and even chanted Jackson’s name.

Kretschmar teamed up with Coborn’s to help make Jackson’s wish come true. Coborn’s hosted an in store fundraiser with their sales of Hero Subs and Make a Wish Stars. The stars sell for $1 and $5. Customers can buy them through May 14, 2017.
