University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital: Meet Rocket

If you are a dog owner, then you know what unconditional love is.  Dogs are very intuitive and often know what you need, when you need it.  That’s why service dogs in hospitals are so important.  Just before the pandemic, Rocket joined the team at the U of M Masonic Children’s Hospital.

Kelli chats with Rocket’s owner, Anna Dressel a certified Child Life Specialist about how Rocket helps the kids.  If you want support Rocket and this Nutrisource Facility Dog Program, all you have to do is take a picture of your cute pet.

Submit your pets photo in Minnesota Monthly’s Petfest through March 10, 2021.  The $20 entry fee and proceeds from the contest will benefit Rocket and the Nutrisource Facility Dog Program.  Then from March 11th – April 8th vote for Minnesota’s cutest pet!  The winner will be featured in Minnesota Monthly’s July-August issue and get a professional photoshoot.
