Author and Media Personality Sheletta Brundidge is a familiar face on Twin Cities Live. When Hurricane Laura hit Louisiana last summer, Sheletta hit the road delivering books and toys to the kids down there who lost everything in the storm. But she also has made it her mission to get carbon monoxide detectors to people who need them. In the aftermath of Hurricane Laura, Sheletta lost five family members with a generator filled their home with carbon monoxide.
Now Sheletta has teamed up with First Alert who donated the detectors, while Sheletta and her family pay for the packing and postage themselves.
