“A Christmas Carol” at the Guthrie Theater

It’s one of the most beloved shows at the Guthrie Theater. “A Christmas Carol” is always a classic for families all over the cities. Ebenezer Scrooge is miserable and hates Christmas until his view changes after a visit by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. The play goes on to showcase the joy of the holidays.

This year, theater goers will once again get to hear great music and see a talented cast perform. They will also see some new things. Choreographer Regina Peluso has some new dances in the show. Mr. Fezziwig (actor Jon Andrew) has his own dances. Jon even helped reporter Emily Engberg learn some of the moves.

“A Christmas Carol” is fun for the entire family. The show runs from November 13th to December 29th.

The Guthrie Theater is also offering a first ever relaxed performance. It is modified to accommodate people with sensory, vestibular sensitives, anxiety, dementia, autism spectrum disorders, learning challenges and more. There will also be a space in the theater where folks can be in safe and quiet environment. The relaxed performance is Sunday, November 18th at 6 p.m. Tickets are $29 for adults and $15 for kids.
