Jump roping is something many of us learned at a very young age, but it doesn’t have to be something you do just as a kid. Pros of the Rope also works with adults. It’s a great way to stay in shape and to work on confidence. It also gets you to work with others. No matter the age, the goal is to get people jumping and moving in and out of two ropes. Pros of the Rope works with you to make it happen.
About three hundred kids across the state of Minnesota get to experience Pros of the Rope every week. The group was founded in 2009. They offer school programs, unique birthday parties, they even do a cardio club and teen night. Some of its youngest jumpers are just three to six years old.
Twin Cities Live reporter Emily Engberg wanted to see the best of the jumpers. So, she showed up for a little lesson in Edina and found out just how much fun jumping can be. She also found out it’s a great workout.
