The Science Behind Pixar at the Science Museum

Pixar is known for its colorful and fun movies. Now, families can get the story behind how it’s all done. The Science Behind Pixar is a 12,000 square foot exhibit that shows the science, technology, engineering and math used to get the movies on screen.

The exhibit is fun, interactive and educational. It takes you through all sorts of interesting things to try and see. You’ll see your favorite characters, learn how they are created and how artists make them come to life. Modeling, Rigging, surfaces, sets and cameras, animation and simulation and lighting are all a part of the exhibit. It’s hands on and fun for kids and adults.

Pixar Animation Studios is behind some of the most beloved movies including “Toy Story”, “Monsters, Inc.”, “Cars”, “The Incredibles”, and more. The studio is in Northern California.
