12 Days of Cookies 2017: Sea Salt Caramel Chocolate Chip

In this installment of 12 Days of Cookies on Twin Cities Live, Elizabeth goes behind the counter of the adorable T-Rex Cookie & Café in Minneapolis with owner Tina Rexing to make perfectly sweet and salty cookies using Land O’Lakes® Unsalted Butter. Sea Salt Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies From Tina Rexing of T-Rex Cookie & Café Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 Cup White Sugar
  • 3 sticks Land O’Lakes® Salted Butter, melted
  • 3 Eggs
  • *Beat until fluffy*
  • 4 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • *SIFT*
  • Add dry ingredients to butter & egg mixture
  • Add 1 Cup Chocolate Chips
  • Add 1 Cup Kraft Caramel Bits

Scoop into evenly sized balls, flatten the tops and sprinkle with Flake Sea Salt (or Maldon Salt). Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Allow to rest 5 minutes on baking sheet before moving to cooling racks.
