Baking Instructor Nancy Burgeson stopped by with a kid friendly Snickers Pie recipe to help kick off TCL’s Super Cool Summer.
25 full size marshmallows
6 regular size Snickers bars, cut into bite sized pieces
2/3 cup milk
1 cup heavy whipping cream (no substitutions)
8 inch pie shell (Keebler has a variety of pre baked pie crusts or you can bake your own crust)
Combine the marshmallows, Snicker bars and milk in the top of a double boiler or in a microwave safe bowl in the microwave. Do not allow to boil. Cool to room temperature.
Whip the cream and fold into the Snicker mixture. Pour into the prepared pie shell. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Makes 8 servings.
