The key to eating healthy and getting your kids on board is all about keeping things simple while making fun and easy recipes. Personal trainer and nutritionist, Sara Gerbracht, stopped by on ways you can integrate healthy habits into your kids routines just in time for summer!

Banana Split Bowl

Ingredients: 1 bananas, ½ cup fat-free Greek yogurt, 5 strawberries (sliced), 5 blackberries, 2 tbsp. chopped almonds

Instructions: Peel banana and cut in half lengthwise. Place banana halves in a shallow bowl. Top with fat-free Greek yogurt and sprinkle with berries and chopped almonds.

Pizza Quesadilla

Ingredients: 1 Ezekiel Sprouted Tortilla or gluten free tortilla, ¼ cup of fat-free mozzarella cheese, ½ cup marinara sauce, 8 turkey pepperoni slices

Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Layer 1 side of the tortilla with ½ cup of marinara, ¼ cup fat-free mozzarella cheese, and 8 turkey pepperoni slices. Bake in oven for 12-20 minutes, depending on how crunchy of crust is desired.

Vanilla Almond Popcorn

Ingredients: 1 scoop of protein powder (the sweeter the better), 1 tsp of cinnamon, ½ cup of almonds, 4 cups of warm popcorn.

Instructions: Mix together protein powder and cinnamon. Add mixture to almonds. Add popcorn to mixture, and stir.
