Classic Sandwich with a Twist

Try making her upgraded BLT!

Cool Ranch Fried Green Tomato BLT 


  • 4 Slices of Beef Bacon
  • 2 Green unripe tomatoes
  • 1 bag of Doritos crushed finely
  • 2 eggs
  • Water
  • Flour
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1 quarter bushel of cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tsp of honey
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 slices of brioche bread
  • Butter lettuce


  1. Fry up bacon and put to the side
  2. Slice tomatoes and sprinkle them with salt and sugar on both sides
  3. Dredge slices of tomatoes in flour then egg wash and cover completely in Dorito being sure to press it into the tomato
  4. Fry in 1 inch of medium heat oil Meanwhile mix mayo, finely chopped jalapeno, chopped cilantro, lime juice, honey and salt to taste.
  5. Toast bread and assemble
