Registered Dietian for CobornsDelivers.com, Emily Parent, taught us some great ways to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into our daily diets.
1. Always pack fresh fruit in your lunch
-Pick fruits like apples or mandarin oranges that travel well
-Mix it uo with fruit kabobs with apples, grapefruit, berries and kiwi
2. Pair vegetables with hummus or guacamole
3. Add more veggies and druit into sandwiches
-Try apples, turkey, cheese and arugula sanwiches
4. Always have presliced vegetables and fruit available
5. Make apple nachos with apple slices, peanut butter and dark chocolate chips
