The Head Chef of Corner Table in Minneapolis, Karyn Tomlinson, shared her recipe for Lucky Charms Bars.
Ingredients: 4 oz butter 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup honey 1/2 tsp salt 2 ea lemons, zested 6 cups cereal (separate the marshmallows for best results) Optional: white chocolate and gold leaf or edible gold luster dust (available at kitchen stores or online) Directions: Place cereal in a mixing bowl. Combine butter, sugar, honey, salt, and lemon zest in a pot and simmer for 4-5 minutes. Pour liquid over cereal and stir. Add marshmallows once it is almost fully incorporated. Press onto parchment or a greased pan and cool for 30 minutes. For stretchier results, substitute the honey and sugar with a 10 oz bag of marshmallows. If desired, melt white chocolate and drizzle over top and sprinkle gold luster dust over bars.
