BBQ Chicken Crescent Rolls

For the past nine years, Twin Cities Live has prepared a lot of yummy food on the show. Steve and Elizabeth certainly have their favorites, but they aren’t the only ones who have sampled the food. Laurie Crowell from Golden Fig recreates our former co-host’s, John Hanson’s favorite recipe.

1 tube crescent rolls
About 1 cup shredded cooked chicken (Rotisserie could be used OR simply poach chicken breast in water and shred)
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
1/2 cup shredded cheddar
1 egg, beaten

Separate all crescent rolls and lay flat.

Mix shredded chicken and BBQ sauce together and divide among crescent roll triangles, placing chicken on one end.

Sprinkle little cheese on top of each pile of chicken and roll loosely.

Brush egg wash on top of each rolled crescent and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-14 minutes.
