Couch Potato Week: Minnesota Made Snacks

We have been celebrating the couch potato all week long, kicking our feet up and getting comfy. We’ve helped you make your couch cozy, found the perfect snuggly jammies to relax in and now we’re helping you binge on Minnesota made snacks! Twin Cities Live reporter Kelli Hanson brought a few of her favorites!

You aren’t a couch potato without a love of potato chips. Old Dutch began right here in Minnesota more than 80-years-ago. Their Rip-L chip is the Twin Cities #1 selling chip and it’s made in Roseville! You’ll find Old Dutch products at your local grocery store.

Coco, Bee & Nut is a grain free granola that will help you snack healthy! Mixed nuts, seeds and dried fruit, wildflower honey and organic coconut oil make up the base. Then amazing blends of spices are added to give it a unique flavor!

Nothing says being a couch potato like eating your own pint of ice cream! Sweet Science Ice Cream takes us back to the basics, but adds elegant flavors like Berry Crumble & Rhubarb Cinnamon Almond. Find locations to pick up a pint here.

If you’re looking for something salty and sweet, try Minnesota Made Funky Chunky. This snack was created 20-years ago and is still made in small batches. Popcorn, chocolate, peanut butter – it doesn’t get much better than that!
