Prime Rib of Pork

It’s Pork Week presented by the Minnesota Pork Board!  Executive chef at Grand Casino Mille Lacs shares his recipe for Bone-In Prime Rib of Pork.

8 lb Pork Crown Roast

1 T Leaf Dried Rosemary

1 T Black Pepper

3 T All Purpose Seasoning

  1. Make sure pork is completely thawed.
  2. Rub the seasoning on to all sides of the pork and place onto the sheet pan.
  3. Place seasoned pork racks into a preheated 325 degree oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes until internal temperature of 145 degrees is reached. Check the pork at 1 hour to judge remaining cook time.
  4. When finished, allow pork to rest at room temperature for 15-30 minutes before slicing.
