Keller Golf Course has a lot of history in Maplewood. It’s just a short drive from Saint Paul and the cities. The champion style course opened back in 1929. But it was just a few years ago when it underwent a major renovation. When it re-opened with a new look in 2014, it was called the “Best Municipal Renovation of 2014” from Golf Magazine. Golf Inc. also called it the “Renovation of the Year”.
The eighteen hole course is gorgeous. It is named after Herbert Keller. Keller was the mayor of Saint Paul from 1910-1914. He was the first mayor of the city to be born in Saint Paul.
Keller Golf Course isn’t just about golfing. Keller Grille is the restaurant on site. It has everything from appetizers and sandwiches to full meal. They offer all sorts of specials and they have a full bar. The atmosphere is casual and perfect for a meal out with friends whether you’re there to golf or not. It’s open to the public.
