Ladies, if you’ve got Spring Break plans coming up, there are likely two things you’re already thinking about — the swimsuit and the very important cover up. But what if you didn’t have to cover up because you felt so good. And if you did go from the beach to lunch, you actually looked put together? Fashion expert and blogger Amy Seeman says it can be done and she’s here to show us how.
Model 1: Holli
Swimsuit by Kenneth Cole – Asymmetrical necklines and a classy black suit are two big trends you’ll see in swimwear this summer. The strategically placed color blocking creates an hourglass shape and the peep slit at the top adds an understated pop of sexiness without being provocative.
Street Style – wide pants from Urban Violet at Ridgedale. No shirt needed for this look! That’s the beauty of a one-piece; it doubles as a bodysuit when you throw a pair of high-waisted pants over them. This chic look is perfect for docking for lunch or for a sunset cruise on a Catamaran.
Model 2: Nikki
Swimsuit by JETS by Jessika Allen – She has a petite athletic frame so Amy chose a suit with a plunging neckline and cutouts to keep her from looking like a 14 year old girl. The classic stripes define her waist and the nautical print with pops of red look beautiful with her skin tone and blonde hair.
Street Style c/o Evereve – Sticking with a preppier theme, Amy chose a lightweight white blouse tied at the waist with linen shorts and espadrilles. You can still see the cutouts on the suit taking a basic outfit and adding an element of interest. You could wear this look to breakfast and then the beach or from the beach to sightseeing.
Model 3: Brooke Pike
Swimsuit by Bare Necessities – Bare Necessities is a great place to shop for curvy and/or busty women. Amy chose this suit because it can be ordered by the cup size giving her the support she needs. It’s also very slimming with the contrast of the bright print down the center and the black band that hits at the smallest part of her waist. It draws your eyes in really accentuating her gorgeous curves.
Street Style – Shirt Dress from Anthropologie A shirt dress is the perfect vacation piece because it can be styled so many ways! You can leave it unbuttoned over the suit like a kimono, buttoned all the way with heels for dinner, or open over a white tank and jeans or shorts for a more casual daytime look.
