Halloween is the most anticipated holiday for the residents of Anoka. After all, it is the Halloween Capital of the World. The giant celebration for Halloween dates back to 1920. Year after year, it continued to grow. Now, people from all over the cities and beyond come to celebrate with the city.
Anoka residents have made this holiday a family affair. There are events for all ages. The big event is the city’s Halloween parade. It brings out thousands of people, but there are lots of events and activities all month long. In fact, prep for October starts the year before for many events.
