Germany’s oldest autumn festival will take over the Minnesota State Fairgrounds Progress Center Friday and Saturday. There will be food, fun and of course, lots of beer. Twin Cities Octoberfest co-owners Chip Meyer and Ryan Brown are here to fill us in.
The two-day event features Summit Brewing Company’s Oktoberfest Marzen-style lager, a selection of other Summit beers, wines, hard ciders, authentic German food, live music, traditional German entertainment, great people watching, festival games, shopping and more.
Twin Cities Oktoberfest runs from 5-11 p.m. Friday and noon-11 p.m on Saturday. Admission is $30 per person and includes a commemorative beer stein and the first beer fill.
