August 25 - September 2:  BINGO at the Fair

Join John and Elizabeth for a game of BINGO when you're at the Minnesota State Fair! They'll be giving away prizes from a bunch of our favorite places, including Kowalski's Markets, Kids Hair and Lillians.

Join us! We'll be there every weekday from August 25 - September 2. Bingo cards will be handed out beginning at 12:30 pm with the games beginning at 1:00 pm. We play until all the prizes are gone! We'll see you at the fair!

The animals are the only exhibits at the fair to check out.  Emily checked out a brand new free exhibit at the fair, the Flippenout Extreme Trampoline Show.

Over the course of the fair, 2.6 million individual cheese curds are deep fried and sold to fairgoers.  Golden Fig owner, Laurie Crowell, has a way to spice up all those curds! 
Extreme Ride with the Weather Guy!  

Last year your votes sent Elizathe on the Skyscraper ride at the Fair.  This year we put our weather guys, Patrick Hammer, Dave Dahl, and Ken Barlow on the ballot.  Your votes put Dave Dahl on the the skyscraper this year!

Dirty Jobs  

People have a lot of fun at the fair – no question.  Even the workers seem to enjoy themselves.  But there are some jobs out there that don’t really look like a lot of fun, but need to be done nonetheless.  We decided that we would give the sanitation workers a little help!  John, Elizabeth, and Emily are sent out to see what doing this “Dirty Job” is really like!

Kirk knows all about hometown dates.  After the hometown date with Ali on his season of the Bachelorette, Kirk did not receive a rose.  John decided that since Kirk is new to Minnesota – having moved here from his hometown in Green Bay, Wisconsin – he would take him on a “hometown date” to the Minnesota State Fair!
